Linda Vista is in the heart of San Diego overlooking Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean to the west, Mission Valley to the South, Tecolote Canyon to the northwest, and Mission Valley to the southeast. Appropriately, Linda Vista is Spanish for "beautiful view." The University of San Diego sits atop one of the area's tallest hills and is often mistaken for the San Diego Mission. In addition to its terrific location, Linda Vista offers affordable housing. Linda Vista’s community enjoys the influence of the Asian immigrants who have settled there, offering wonderful restaurants and cultural centers.
